Project focus:
The PhD focuses on physical and chemical processes of single molecules, in a surface‑science / nano‑lab environment that works at the single‑molecule level using scanning probe and related techniques. Research topics include adsorption, dynamics, and reactions of individual molecules at surfaces, studied with high‑resolution spectroscopic and microscopic methods.
Candidate profile:
Completed Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject.
Strong interest and background in physical chemistry, molecular/surface science, or related areas.
Experience or interest in single‑molecule methods, surface science, vacuum systems, and spectroscopy is advantageous.
Good English; willingness to work in a diverse, interdisciplinary team.
